ABOUT US
Our vision is a world where every girl and woman is safe, healthy and lives free from female genital mutilation. We are established in 2017 by students from University of Westminster to end FGM in Sudan.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our aim as Global Media is to be able to spread the message and receive donations for global crises that need exposure and help from the public in order to be resolved. We focus on global crises, that happen all over the world and not only the UK.
We spread the message of different crises and get donations by creating successful and engaging online campaigns. The campaigns include creating digital content such as images, videos, hash tags and articles. The digital content created are used to give in depth information about the crisis in an attractive manner to attract our target audience to engage with the campaign.
Save the girls is a digital campaign run by the Global Media team in partnership with Cush charity to spread awareness of female genital mutilation and to get as much donations to help victims of girls who are potential victims of FGM.

The campaign will active using online social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. By running this campaign, the end goal is to make more people aware of FGM as from doing research, majority of our audience aren’t of FGM, which means they are less likely to help the cause. Therefore, this campaign will raise more knowledge on the issues at hand and will get more help from the public.
After spreading awareness of the campaign online and gaining donations, the money will be used to be sent back to South Sudan and Sudan to help the girls that are victims there, by providing healthcare advisors, medical assistant and any other medicines or care that may be needed for previous victims.
